Yesterday was a unique day, to be sure. In fact, it’s kind of been that kind of week. See for yourself. My week according to Facebook.
*Sprinkles: When I grow up I’m going to be a mom. And a Princess.
Lofty but great goals!
*Things that make for an interesting morning: remembering your mother in law is allergic to peanut butter but it’s all your girl will eat (will make for an interesting grandma and kids solo weekend), learning via FB your husband who’s away on business was pulled over, and snapping wide awake at four a.m.
*She’s ready to go. And afterward she’s already requested 5 bowls of Cheerios. Poor girls hungry!
*Sprinkles’s ear tube surgery, moving household goods assessment, an escape artist dog who goes after the mailman (oh yes, she did), and people coming to crate and ship a motorcycle; all in one day. Obviously I am not meant to either nap or accomplish anything today.
I have about 500 things to do today like pack for me, pack for the dog, grocery shop for the kids and grandma for the weekend, finish laundry, change sheets, clean the house, go to the post office, write out instructions, go to the bank…
And I have to it all while remembering this:
Life is cruel…guess I’d better get used to it.
What’s on your agenda this Thursday?

eeeek! What a week! Me? I just have to write (at least) 3 pages for a grant (due the 29th) and modify one that I’ve already completed cause the funder requested changes (due Friday!).
Are you sure you want to go to Seattle this weekend? ha!
