I’m Andrea. I love cars, books, house-hunting, writing, and all things foodie. I would totally channel my inner Martha if she existed. I’ve lived in two countries (US and Germany), lived in 6 states (WA, PA, DE, NJ, MD, KY – some of them multiple times back and forth!), and traveled the world. With a husband, two kids and a puppy, there’s always something going on! I’d love to be a full-time novelist, DirtFish Rally Car teacher, or the back-up girl on American Pickers.

Or permanently on a tropical vacation.

After 17 years living elsewhere, we moved back to my home state of Washington. In the US, I’ve lived as far east as Jersey and now as far west as Seattle.

And yes, it does rain. A lot. I take my daily dose of vitamin D and pray for the sun to come back sometime around May.

Papa Cupcake – the husband, a frequent business traveler, he takes pride in stuffing a weeks worth of clothing into a carry-on. Likes motorcycles, sushi and logic puzzles.

Sprinkles – excitable, drama queen-capable, 7 year old. She is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re going to get. Adores dolls – especially Lalaloopsy – fruit of any sort and pestering her big brother.

Vanilla – wicked, wicked smart 11 year old boy. But he’s just like vanilla. One flavor is always fine with him even when there are 31 to choose from. Plays video games, builds complex things and enjoys quoting movies.

Mocha Bean – the puppy. All puppy, all the time. Likes food, sleeping and food.
