Caution, picture enormous…scroll at your own risk. Last week the family packed up at the unholy hour of 4:30 am, and stumbled into the family truckster to go to the airport. Even though some of us severely lacked coffee, we were all excited to be getting out of miserable, grey, rainy Seattle. The destination? Phoenix, Arizona. While it wasn’t predicted by the weatherman to be particularly warm, only the day we arrived would we meet up with a temperature in the 70′s, as in 70 degrees, but at least it wasn’t rainy Seattle. I’m addicted to sports, well, hockey and baseball at any rate. Or I at least used to be addicted to sports. Growing up, my dad watched football. He was a 49ers fan, and these were the heady days of Joe Montana and Jerry Rice. I watched a lot of football as a young thing. Today, you’d have to drag me kicking and screaming to spend three hours in front of a bunch of annoying males throwing around a leather covered ball. It is safe to say, I hate football.
